Rosemary Gonzales

Rosemary Gonzales, 89, of Beaumont, passed to meet her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 20, 2024. She was born on March 1, 1934, in San Antonio, Texas, to Donato Gonzales, Sr. and Maria Lopez Gonzales. She lived in Beaumont 85 years and graduated from Beaumont High School in 1953.

Rosemary worked at San Jacinto Savings for 10 years. She also worked at The Fair Store and The White House until she retired. Rosemary was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was devoted to her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry Gonzales, Angel Gonzales, Raymond Gonzales, Oscar Gonzales; and sister, Emma Reyes.

She is survived by her brothers, Frank Gonzales of New Braunfels; Don Gonzales Jr and his wife, Alice, of Beaumont; and Johnny Gonzales and his wife, Velia, of Sugarland, Texas; sister-in-law, Terry Gonzales of Spring, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Ms. Gonzales will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Friendship Baptist Church, 6750 Hwy 105, Beaumont, with a luncheon to follow in the fellowship hall. A private family burial was held at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
