Royce Paul Boyett

Royce Paul Boyett, 76, of Kountze, died Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was born on October 29, 1946, in Houston, to Pauline Bates Boyett and R.C. Boyett. He proudly served his county in the United States Navy and retired from BNSF Railroad.

Survivors include his son, Jeremy Paul Boyett of Vidor; grandchildren, Cheyann Baxter, Chelsea Crain, Colton Crain, Daylon Wheeler, and Kayleigh Boyett; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Robert Boyett; David Boyett and his wife, Ann; and Troyce Boyett and his wife, Bonnie, all of Kountze. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tallena Crain; sisters-in-law, Joyce Boyett and Peggy Boyett.

A gathering of Mr. Boyett’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Holland Cemetery, Kountze.
