I have been friends with Cheryl since kindergarten!! The Green’s house became like a 2nd home too me! So many memories were shared! Here parents welcomed me in ever time with open arms! Mr Green was alway making us laugh along with their son David! I am very blessed too have spent my years growing up with Cheryl and her family. I am so sorry for y’all’s loss. Lots of love and prayers.
I had the privilege of calling Ruben Green my friend. He was a prime example of what a Christian friend, father and grandfather should be. He loved his family, and he loved his God!
I am sorry for your loss. I know how hard it can be. I enjoyed when Ruben and his family would come to Carthage to the family reunion. I will be praying for you and your family 🙏 ❤️ 🙏
I met Mr . Green and Barbara at Dishman Elementary where Misty and Micheal attended school.I remembered Mr. Green playing Santa at the school. He was always volunteering at the school. My condolences to the family
I went to school with Ruben from elementary school through high school. I remember him as one of the nicest and most friendly guys in the entire school. I know that his family will miss him greatly.
May God bless his family.

To Barbara, Cheryl, and all of Ruben’s
friends and familly,
I am so very sorry to learn of Ruben’s
recent death. I’ve known him since
October, 1955 when I transferred to C. W.
Bingman elementary in Beaumont. He
was always a nice kid at school all those
years ago.
May the blessings of God be with you during this difficult time.
Respectfully,
