Ryan Allen Roth

October 31, 1985 - May 29, 2023

Ryan Allen Roth, 37 of Lumberton, Texas, passed away peacefully and entered his eternal home on May 29, 2023.  He was surrounded by his loving family.

Ryan was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and placed in his parent’s waiting arms when he was just two and a half weeks old.  In 1998, when Ryan was thirteen, the family moved to Lumberton. In all his moving and traveling as an adult, he always called Lumberton “home”.

He is survived by his five-year-old daughter and the apple of his eye, Roisin Roth of Naples, Florida; parents, Ron and Donna Roth; sister, Rachel Roth, all of Lumberton; uncle and aunt, Sid and Mardy Weikel of Arwood, Texas; and many cousins.  He also had a loving birth-family, Kimberly, Thomas, Zach, Maddie, Naunau and Nana.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lester and Helen Helms (Papa and Frammie); paternal grandparents, Allen and Clara Roth; and uncle, Lester Raymond Helms.

He also leaves behind an abundance of friends, whom he loved like brothers and sisters. He made many memories with them. He never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor and kept the nurses laughing during his many outpatient appointments.  He kept his family comforted and would make us smile and laugh, even on his last day as he lay so very ill.

Ryan, at the age of twelve, was “tapped out” for the Order of the Arrow. He loved Scout life and camping with his dad. He was a collector of many things, especially original Star War’s figurines, model planes he put together with his dad and cards of all kinds. As a teenager, skateboarding became his passion, and he would hang out with fellow skateboarders while growing up in Corpus Christi and Lumberton. Drums were another passion, and he was happiest when sitting at his drum set, playing along with music. As he got older, motorcycles replaced skateboards and he loved working on and riding them. He also became interested in cooking, especially BBQing. He loved all kinds of foods and while sick, spent time watching cooking shows.
