Samuel Warren Mills

January 2, 1979 - August 19, 2020

Samuel “Sam” Mills, 41, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Christus – St. Elizabeth Hospital, Beaumont. He was born to Donna Allen and Ernest Mills in Webster, Texas on January 2, 1979.

Survivors include his wife, Kelli Diffey Mills; and daughter, Rayna Mills, both of Lumberton; mother, Donna Allen, of Warren; father, Ernest Mills, of Houston; sisters, Stacey Allen, of Lumberton and Sherry Lynn Mills, of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, David Allen and James Mills.

A gathering of Mr. Mill’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by his funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Cremation arrangements are under the directions of Broussard’s.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 42040, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or The Humane Society of Southeast Texas, P.O. Box 1629, Beaumont, Texas 77704.

He was such a lovely man. He always came in the chemo room smiling even though I knew he was feeling bad. He was a sweet man. Always kind, Very funny. He always talked about his daughter and how much he loves her. I'm surely gonna miss my friend. Rest in peace my friend. You've fought a long hard battle. You're an angel now, buddy.
