Scottie Lynn Cherry

Scottie Lynn Cherry, 57, of Kountze, died Wednesday, September 21, 2022. He was born on October 5, 1964, in Kountze to Shirley Manshack Cherry and Ernest E. Cherry. Mr. Cherry proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Cherry, of Kountze; children, Clint Baird and his wife, Jennifer; Shane Baird and his wife, Marcie; Lance Baird and his wife, Brooke all of California and Lindsay Baird-Welsh and her spouse, Christie, of Denver, Colorado; siblings, Jeanie Moore of Kountze; Debra Alegre of Wildwood; Catherine Buckner and her husband, Bubba, of Zavalla; Monese Odom and her husband, Randy, of Wildwood; Ernest Cherry Jr. and his wife, Necel; father Ernest Cherry all of Honey Island and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Manshack Cherry.

Mr. Cherry’s committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
