Shirley LeMaire Brown
Shirley LeMaire Brown, 87, of China, died Monday, April 15, 2024, at Focused Care at Summer Place, Beaumont. She was born on January 1, 1937, to Lorance Marie Thibodeaux Leger and Louis Paul Leger, in China.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Waites and her husband, Thomas; grandchildren, Cody Segler and Maddie Smith; Dustin LeMaire; and Savannah Warden and her husband, Daniel; great-grandchildren, Chase Segler, Ryker Segler, Ranger Segler, Olivia LeMaire, Kayden LeMaire, Oaklynn Warden, and Presley Jane Warden due July 2024; and brother, Michael Leger and his wife, Anita.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Homer LeMaire; second husband, Bobby “Pop” Brown; and sisters, Genevie Graham and Joyce Guidry.
A gathering of Mrs. Brown’s family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 19, 2024, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at China Cemetery, China.
