Stephen (Mark) Vincent, 63, of Silsbee, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Mark was born on August 16, 1958, in Beaumont, Texas, to Percy (P.J.) and Pat Vincent.

Mark spent his early childhood in Beaumont, graduating from Silsbee High School. He graduated from Lamar University and began a career in real estate. He had different careers throughout his life and eventually retired.  He traveled extensively to Mexico along with other countries. He was self-taught fluent in Spanish and French. When he was home, he spent his free time at Lake Amanda in Colmesneil.

Mark never met a stranger. To know Mark was to love him. He was a great friend to all who knew him.  He had numerous nieces and nephews who loved their “Uncle Mark” so much and were always in line to have their “liver turned upside down”, ready to “wrassle”, “pull his finger” or take a “trip to Candyland.”

Mark is preceded in death by his father P.J. who passed away last December.

He leaves behind many dearly loved aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Left to mourn his unexpected death is his mother: Pat Vincent, sisters: Renée Long, Michele Daley, brothers David and wife, Minerva and Craig and wife Michele.  Mark also leaves behind ten nephews, seven nieces, twenty-two great nephews and nieces and two great great-nephews to grow and learn about all the kindness of this gentle soul.

Mark, such a handsome one and totally resembles my BFF- MICHELE DALEY!
I enjoyed spending time with Mark on Lake Amanda and was so saddened by his passing.
I love you Pat and God Bless You. We both know what it’s like to lose a child and truly noone should have to wear these ugly shoes. I miss my daughter every single day and my heart still hurts for you .
There will be a glorious day when we will run into their arms again and never let go.
I cried as I just got to see the beautful video of his life. I would have never missed his funeral and never got the message from Michele on my hacked phone until afterwards.
I always think of “Footprints in the Sand” … just hang on to Jesus and he will walk us through the dark places. I hope to see you soon.

Mark was my late husband’s best friend. My husband’s name is Peter Lloyd. I loved Mark when Pete introduced to him when we were dating. Mark’s a kind soul just like Peter. My inlaws just now let me know about Mark. I am so sorry for your loss. Now he and Peter can enjoy heaven, fishing, saltwater and all together. Sincerely, Susan Pilkinton Lloyd
