Terrie Ann Touchett Walters

Terrie Ann Touchett, 55, of Groves, died Saturday, November 5, 2022. She was born on May 15, 1967, to Dorothy Nell Doan Touchett and Nelson Touchett, Jr., in Beaumont.

Terrie was a fierce, loyal friend to many.  She suffered from Muscular Dystrophy for many years.  Despite her disease her strong-will and determination always kept a beautiful smile on her face that would light up a room and make even your darkest days seem brighter.  She worked for many years at Huntsman/Indorama.  A devoted employee, only when her disease advanced was she finally forced to consider retired.  She saw the good in everyone and the bright side of every situation.  She never met a stranger and always had a kind word.  She was a cat lover that never turned away an animal in need. Terrie cared for others and her cats with the same passion and love that her savior Jesus Christ gave her.  She was an obedient and faithful follower of the Lord.

Survivors include her sister, Jan Bach of Jasper; stepbrother, Rick Goldin and his wife, Laurie, of Lumberton; stepsister, Cherl Phillips and her husband, Will, of Rowlett; stepmother, Patricia Touchett of Lumberton; nieces and nephews, Theresa Peveto, Hillary Touchett, Hayley Wigley, Gregg Bach, and Jacob Touchett; step-nieces and nephews, Meagan Coon, Lauren Sachitano, Rachael Hefner, Cindy Fish, Aaron Goldin, and Nick Long; great-nieces and nephews; and her 7 beloved cats.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Randy Touchett.

A gathering of Ms. Touchett’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
