Terry Allen Bland, 86, of Kountze, died Friday, March 1, 2024. He was born on March 9, 1937, in Orange, to Ruby Nora Gibney Bland and Ira Samuel Bland.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Bland; daughter, Donna Casey; grandchild, Lee Scott Faircloth, III and his wife, Amy, of Bridge City; and grandchildren, Hillary, Tristen, and Cody. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother.
Mr. Bland’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.

Terry was my neighbor till he moved. He always was the kind of person who was there to help this young guy in whatever I asked. He was a great friend!

Saddened to see of Terry’s passing. I met Terry in 1975 while in #3 shop at DuPont. I remember his story of falling through the ceiling onto his neighbors dining room table in the Riverside duplex. Really liked Terry.
Jerry I also enjoyed Terry’s tales and as we called it in bldg3 speaking Terraneese. His stories about Nipsy the 3 legged dog to the roof top AC involving a cup and water hose. This man’s mechanical abilities were over the top and a very soft spoken gentleman. RIP My Friend.
