Tressie was a graduate of TJ in 1948 I believe – she was a good friend of my parents Bill Dorr and Marie Ann Johnson Dorr. Our families would get together on occasion as we were all growing up. Tressie was always a social butterfly her whole life. In her later years, she took care of the classmates’ newsletter and yearly Christmas reunion, held at the Pompano. I believe she also organized monthly classmate luncheons (at the Pompano). In the 90’s I went to work at the USPS and made some new friends. One of them was a woman named Cindy – it was so fun to find out she had once been one of Tressie’s daughters in law. Such a small world. I had not seen Tressie since the Christmas party of 2014. My father died in 2015 and Tressie continued to send me a newsletter and was adamite that I continue to come to the Christmas parties. I’m sorry now I didn’t go. She was a lively, sweet person.
