Val Bridgeman

Val Bridgeman, 84, of Fannett, died Tuesday, July 19, 2022.  She was born September 6, 1937, in Nederland, to Eva and Oto Abshire.

Survivors include her son, Christopher “Yancy” Doguet and wife, Charlene, of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Rachel, and John; great-grandchildren, Asher, Madison, Gracelyn, Beckham, Maveric, Porter, Ellie, and Izzie; sister, Jonnie Abshire, of Beaumont; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Perk Bridgeman; son, Nick Doguet; and sisters, Joyce and Sandy.

Mrs. Bridgeman’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont. A private family committal will be held at a later date.
