Verna Mae Hargrave

Verna Mae Hargrave, 89, of Beaumont, died Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. She was born on January 2, 1934, to Edna Simon Vincent and Eulise Vincent, in Lyons Point, Louisiana.

Survivors include her children, Minus Hargrave and his wife, Judy, of Beaumont and Cindy Phillips and her husband, Terry, of Crystal Beach; grandchildren, Cody Hargrave and his wife, Sundi; Courtney Hargrave; Colby Hargrave; and Samantha Burleson and her husband, Matthew; and great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Hargrave, Jordan Hargrave, Walter Hargrave, Gianna Stewart, Abby Burleson, and Bryson Burleson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbert “Pee Wee” Hargrave, Jr.; grandson, Tyler Phillips; and her thirteen siblings.

Mrs. Hargrave’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
