Victor Schroeder

March 16, 1954 - December 22, 2018

Victor “Tuffy” Schroeder, 64, of Beaumont, died Saturday, December 22, 2018. He was born in Beaumont, on March 16, 1954, to Delores Smart Schroeder and John Schroeder.

Survivors include his children, Allen Schroeder and his wife, Nicole and Victoria Mooney-Sartor and her husband, John, all of Vidor; grandchildren, Haley Schroeder, Taylor Schroeder, Kameron Sluss, Dylan Mooney, Tristyn Mooney, Payton Sartor, and Blaine Sartor; brother, Johnny Ray “Bubba” Schroeder and his wife, Janet, of Sour Lake; and sisters, Sonia Sonnier and her husband, Greg, of Beaumont and Amy Woolls and her husband, Phillip, of Sour Lake; longtime friend, Evelyn Thibodeaux of Beaumont; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Kitty Hidalgo.

A celebration of Tuffy’s life will be 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Ditto’s, 8025 College Street, Beaumont. Tuffy’s committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

My favorite memory of Uncle Tuffy was when I was 3-4 years old and he got a new motorcycle. He rode up to the house to show us and gave us all a ride! I felt so safe, secure and on top of the world riding with him down to the canal!
