Walter Pike
Walter George Pike, 77, of Port Arthur, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018. He was born on April 26, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Walter frequented Powerhouse Gym and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. As a Cowboys fan he always said, “Wait until next year.”
Survivors include his wife, Janet Pike, and son, Tim Pike both of Port Arthur; brother, Ralph Pike and his wife, Aldiene, of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Memorial contributions for Mr. Pike may be made to Southeast Texas Humane Society, P.O. Box 1629, Beaumont, Texas 77704.
A memorial service for Mr. Pike will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. The service is casual. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

I remember back in Cherry Point, NC back in the 60's, my cool Uncle Walter took me on a motorcycle ride! It was my first and only one of 3 I have ever taken.. And I visited a few years ago and was fascinated with his two GIANT dogs. One stood up under the dining room table and lifted it right off the floor.
