William Morrel Cast, Jr.

William Morrel Cast, Jr., 76, of Beaumont, died Friday, March 1, 2024, with his family at his side, in Beaumont. He was born on January 6, 1948, to Ernestine Constance Manear Cast and William Morrel Cast, Sr., in Victoria. William loved motorcycles, traveling and bringing home souvenirs, and quick draws. Most of all, he loved his family.

Survivors include his children, William Morrel Cast III and his wife, Ruthie; JoAnna Creel and her husband, Kristopher; and Robert Cast and his wife, Traci; grandchildren, Katelynn, Christopher, Airik, Abigail, Greenlee, and Gunner; and great-grandson, Brady.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of many years, Zela Gail Cast; brother, Ronnie Cast; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lois Loretta Simmons and Reverend Bob Simmons.

His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
