William Chris Satterfield

William Chris Satterfield, 78, of Beaumont, died Friday, November 5, 2020, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on January 2, 1942, to Golda Rice Satterfield and George Satterfield, in Indianapolis, Indiana. William was a Hall of Famer bowler who was well known in Houston and Beaumont, and former owner of Bowlstar Bowling in Beaumont.

Survivors include his son, Roger Satterfield of China; brothers, George Satterfield and his wife, Michelle, of Granbury; Kenneth Satterfield of Granbury; and Daryl Rice and his wife, Ronna, of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Jewel Burns and her husband, John T.; Steven Satterfield; Tiffany Satterfield; Koty Wilson and his wife, Shantell; and Natasha Bennett; great-grandchildren, Taylor Burns, Millie Burns, Maci Wilson, Kolbi Wilson, Trevin Bennett, and Tresten Bennett.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Rice; sister, Diane Rice; son, Steven Satterfield; and daughter, Chanda Satterfield.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

The family requests that friends and family please refrain from sending any floral arrangements.
