Willie Mae Wolfe

July 21, 1951 - February 21, 2021

Willie Mae Wolfe, 69, of Fred, Texas, died Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, in Beaumont. She was born on July 21, 1951, in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas, to Jean Wilson and Hick Younger. She was employed as a secretary for Keller Window Manufacturing Company.

Willie Mae was an excellent homemaker and an amazing Cajun cook. She enjoyed being with her family. Willie Mae will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, aunt, and grandma.

She is survived by her stepdaughter, Cheryl Huddleston, of Clinton, Missouri; step-grandchildren, Bradley, Cody, David, Cody, Van, Monica, and Holly; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Mae Elizabeth Poncho and her husband, Elwin; Joyce Ann Gunter; and Dona Norsworthy and her husband, Randy, all of Spurger; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Willie Mae is preceded in death by her parents, Jean Wilson and Hick Younger; husband, David Leroy Wolfe; stepsons, Christopher Wolfe and Danny Wolfe; grandchildren, Brandon Wolfe and Brittany Wolfe; and she will be especially missed by her faithful dog, Yogi.

A graveside service for Mrs. Wolfe will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2021, at Franks Branch Cemetery, Fred, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
