Fred Waguspack

September 10, 1931 - February 7, 2024

Fred Waguspack, 92, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He was born on September 10, 1931, in Beaumont to Violet Fondren and Fred Joseph Waguspack, Sr.

Fred graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1951. He joined the Air Force and served for four years. Fred retired from Bill Clark Pest Control.

Survivors include his wife, Janette Waguspack; children, Cheryl Wilson and her husband, Bill, of Burleson; Steve Waguspack and his wife, Glenda, of Kirbyville; Susan Holliday and her husband, Jim, of Montgomery; and Mike Waguspack and his wife, Deborah, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Cheyenne Earnest, Justin McCarroll, Anthony Waguspack, Ryan Holliday, Chris Waguspack, Jessie Neubauer, Jace Waguspack, Meagan Welch, Grant Waguspack, Amanda Williams, Blake Wilson, and Bari Iiams; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents and great-grandson, Eli.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701 or Some Other Place, P.O. Box 0843, Beaumont, Texas 77704.

A gathering of Mr. Waguspack’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson Street, Beaumont, with his interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
