Lillie Adell Porter, of Nederland, passed from this world on Saturday, June 23,2024, at age 93. Lillie was born April 19, 1931, in Galveston, Texas to Mark Delvin Johnson and Ella Mae Dick. Lillie was a homemaker in Nederland, Texas for over 70 years, and a lifelong member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Nederland. Lillie was an independent, kind, caring sole of the Greatest Generation, who looked to find good in everyone. Lillie was loved by all who knew her. Lillie fulfilled her life’s goal by taking extraordinary care of her family and anyone else that would let her. Lillie enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, cooking for her family and friends, loving her pets and doing whatever she could for anyone that came into her life. Herschel Beautt Randall, 82 of Port Acres passed away on June 21, 2024.  He was born in Port Arthur, Texas to Carl F. Randall and Pearl Ivy Bennett Randall.  As a young man Beautt went to Barber School out of High School and entered the National Guard.  He then worked at Chevron in Port Arthur as a Pipefitter and then transferred to the Tool Room.  He loved his family dearly.  He loved fishing and camping with his family and friends. He was an avid collector of model Trucks and Cars and loved Nascar. O’Neal, the patriarch of the Wilson family, passed peacefully in his sleep on May 2, 2024, at the age of 96. Tootsie said it best, as she described him as a good man, a good husband, a good daddy, a good pawpaw, and a good Christian. And he was in fact all of those things. O’Neal was born on September 3, 1927, in Shelby County, Texas and went to several schools as a boy, before graduating from Center in 1944. He enlisted and served in the Army Air Corp and was later drafted back into the Air Force during the Korean War. All in all, he served 5 years, 5 months, and 5 days. Minos Wayne Dubois, 75, of Port Arthur, died Monday, April 29, 2024. He was born July 16, 1948, in Abbeville, Louisiana, to Laura and Minos Dubois. Minos was an avid fisherman and hunter. He adored his fur baby T-Boog. In his younger years he enjoyed traveling very much. Survivors include his son, Chad Dubois, and his wife, Crystal, of Port Arthur; sister, Rochelle Badgett, and her husband, David, of Nederland; stepdaughters, Windy Patterson of Nederland and Mindy Anderson, and her husband, Joe, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Hunter, Rex, Sela, Sloane, Price, Reece, Faith, Josiah, Tylore, Dustyn, Brytannee; great-grandchild, Tatum. He is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Kathryn. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

Frank E. “Butch” Frazier 84 of Nederland passed away Friday, April 26, at Bonne Vie in Port Arthur. Butch was born on February 6, 1940, in Port Neches, to Jennie and Gene Frazier. Butch graduated Nederland High School in May of 1958, and married his sweetheart, Myrhl in July of the same year. They began their life together on the family farm in Groveton, TX. In December of 1967, they moved their family back to Nederland and Butch took a job with the Texas Asphalt plant in Port Neches. He retired from his Night Foreman position in 1997, and he and Myrhl spent the next several years traveling throughout America in their RV.
